We have been delivering maintenance services to clients across the education sector for over 30 years, from internal and external redecoration to full refurbishment and replacement projects in Schools, Colleges, Universities, and Student Accommodation. As such, we understand the importance of delivering works to strict timescales, whilst maintaining a high level of quality. Our teams work in collaboration with clients and their stakeholders to establish the bespoke requirements of each project, hand selecting the best team to meet these.

A large part of our work within the Education sector is school refurbishment projects, each with their own complications and requirements. As such, we have developed a specialised team of school refurbishment contractors to ensure the best quality on every project, and will work closely with all key stakeholders throughout the process to ensure the project runs smoothly and all standards are adhered to.

Works to over 500 educational establishments are completed in the summer close-down period. 

Last year we successfully completed works within the summer close-down period to over 500 educational facilities across the UK. To achieve successful completion of each project, we aim to have our long-term contracts ahead of each planned programme, enabling us to flex up our capacity prior to the summer period. This allows us to maximise our resources within this sector, to meet tight deadlines. We have more almost 3000 directly employed operatives across our 37 UK-branches, therefore we can deploy additional resources to meet demands within the education sector in line with the tight timeframes required.

We ensure the protection of all stakeholders, whilst minimising our disruption to the daily operations of each facility.

Our works in the Education space are often within occupied premises, therefore minimising disruption whilst ensuring the health and safety of students and staff is key. We establish relationships with key stakeholders, tailoring our programmes to meet their requirements to ensure the presence of our workforce causes the least disruption.

Our established ISO45001 accredited processes safeguard students and staff ensure high levels of health & safety at all stages of our works. All operatives working within this sector are DBS checked and cleared.

Furthermore, we plan site and operatives’ movements around the work areas, ensuring effective segregation and the delivery of materials at specific times and locations is in place.

Across the UK we work within many PFI/PPP schools providing long term budgeting options and fixed maintenance costs, assisting the consortium or maintenance organisation achieve their contractual obligations whilst minimising financial risk through the duration of the agreement.
