Our painting and decorating services laid the foundations of our business in 1988 and remains a large part of our business today.
We directly employ over 1500 painters and decorators, over 200 painting and decorating apprentices, have 14 Decorating Academies across the country, and are the largest contractor buyer of trade paint from all 3 of the UK’s largest paint manufacturers.

Our 37 branches span the length and breadth of Scotland, England, Wales, and Northern Ireland, providing true national coverage via local directly employed management and operational teams. Our teams take pride in providing a personalised, local service for every client with the reassurance and efficiencies of our established national organisation.
On an annual basis we carry out internal and external painting & decorating works for 800 clients across UK in sectors including Social Housing, MoD, Education, Healthcare, Retail and Leisure, Local Authority, Commercial and Private, including:

We have been proud Royal Warrant Holders since 2009 and continue to provide painting and decorating, and refurbishment works to the royal family in their properties across the country.
We are committed to providing the highest levels of painting and decorating quality and workmanship and are proud partners of both industry suppliers and accreditors, including Akzo Nobel Trade, Dulux Trade, the PDA (Painting & Decorating Association) and SDF (Scottish Decorators Federation).

Painting and Decorating Courses & Apprenticeships
We operate an annual apprentice recruitment process which enables a wide range of applicants, including students from our Bell Academies and those from disadvantaged and underrepresented groups. This supports our business vision to attract diverse talent and create a culture that promotes inclusion.
We are also an approved Centre for the delivery of Painting and Decorating Apprenticeships and currently delivers an in-house programme to young people in Scotland as part of an ongoing Scottish Government contract.
